A former migrant farm worker, volunteer firefighter, and EMS first responder

I have always answered the call for service.  I have been a public servant all my life and find professional fulfillment in helping the most vulnerable populations, from family violence survivors and victims of crime to people with a language barrier facing criminal charges and deportation.

Representation matters

It is important that leaders in Travis County reflect the community they serve. It is crucial that children going through the juvenile justice system see themselves reflected in those deciding their fate.
